AVID
We have a strong AVID program with amazing teachers. We are excited to announce that we are now an AVID Demonstration school. Go AVID Cougars!
GEAR UP
We are 1of 48 California middle schools that was selected for a GEAR UP grant. We believe that every student should have the opportunity to go to college and it is never to early to start. GEAR UP provides VVMS with these opportunities, as well as parent and staff training.
Honor Roll
In 2011, 2012, and 2013 VVMS was given the Honor Roll recognition for being a very successful middle school. Our API continues to increase and our students continue to succeed.
Schools-to-watch
We were recently re-certified as a "Schools-to-watch" school for another 3 years!
NJHS
We are a National Junior Honor Society School.
